Application & Working Principle:

Roots Air Blowers, also known as Twin Lobe Rotary Air Blowers, are extensively used in bulk material handling systems like Cement Bulkers and Fly Ash Bulkers. These blowers are installed on the bulker tankers to pressurize and convey powdered cement or fly ash pneumatically through pipelines to silos at construction sites or batching plants.

The blower generates oil-free, dry, pulsation-free air at a constant volume. This pressurized air is pushed into the bulker tank, fluidizing the cement/fly ash, and then transporting it through a discharge hose using positive pressure conveying.

1. Blower Installation: The roots blower is mounted on the bulker chassis and connected to the PTO (Power Take Off) of the truck engine or a diesel engine.

2. Air Generation: When powered, the twin lobe rotors rotate in opposite directions, drawing in atmospheric air and compressing it to generate a steady flow of pressurized air.

3. Material Conveying: This air is pushed into the bulker tank, aerating the material and creating enough pressure to discharge it efficiently through the pipeline to the silo.

These blowers are engineered for continuous-duty pneumatic conveying of powdered materials such as cement, fly ash, lime, and fine dust particles from bulker tankers to storage silos in RMC plants and construction sites.

Our blowers are oil-free, air-cooled, and capable of delivering constant airflow at low pressures (typically 0.5 to 1.2 kg/cm²), ensuring safe and efficient material transfer without contamination.
